Dear Classmates,

Like it or not we are fast approaching 30 years since graduating.  On the bright side we haven't cracked that 50 years old barrier.  So to celebrate our milestone we're going to party like it's 1999 ( sorry for the dated reference but currently there's no Lil' Wayne or Jay-Z remake).  Here's the itinary for the weekend:

           Friday June 8th
8:00pm -  Wise Guys Comedy Club & Bistro
Hailed as Syracuse's premier comedy club (not sure if there really is another one unless you count Bruce Yancey's one liners at the Nice 'N Easy in Manlius).  They promise to deliver not just laughs but big, wild, uncontrollable laughs. Sounds right up our class's alley.
Located on 201 South Salina Street.  To make reservations call (315) 477-9898 or utilize their web site at www.wiseguyssyracuse.com and indicate that you are with the FM Class Of '82.  They'll start taking reservations in March.

9:30pm - Kitty Hoynes Irish Pub and Restaurant
Kitty Hoynes is said to offer every visitor a view of a stained glass visage,100,000 welcomes, and a perfect pint of Guinness.  Art majors can check out the former while I accompany such Irish folks as Scott McCormac, Kelly Kinsella, Dennis McGinnis, Kevin Daley and Ro O'Keefe to sample the latter.
Located at 301 West Fayette Street in Armory Square.

             Saturday June 9th
11:00am to1:00pm - Four Seasons Golf and Ski Center
The ultimate Class of '82 miniature golf tournament.  We heard the females complain that they wanted in on golf but felt a bit intimidated.  No more - the brand new putt-putt center and its waterfall course promises not to discriminate. Yes, it's the old 90 Acres on East Genesee St.  And yes, it's still run by John Goodfellow.  All family members are welcome to play and prizes will be awarded.

2:30pm to 4:30pm - Fayetteville-Manlius High School Varsity Baseball Field
Class of '82 softball game to be played on the same baseball field behind the school that the 2009, 2010, and 2011 League Champion Hornets play on.  All classmates, spouses and children are welcome to participate.  No prizes will be available, however, plenty of first aid kits will be on hand.

                   7:00pm to ? - Stinger's
Opened by FM graduate Greg Rinaldi, Stinger's is a place you can go where everybody knows your name (OK last old reference).  It's convenietly located in Manlius on Route 92 less than a quarter mile from Eagle Hill and quite coincidently less than a mile from my house.  They have pub fare for those so inclined and cocktails and spirits for those wishing to recline.

Hopefully, some if not all the events are of interest and I certainly hope to see you and your families that weekend.  Special thanks to John Moceyunas, our PR man and webmaster, for maintaining our web site and disseminating this correspondence to you.
                                                                                                                                     Warmest regards,

                                                                                                                                     Kerry M.Lightcap
                                                                                                                                     President Class Of '82
